Kaizan means continuous improvement. Typically, Kaizan is the building block of all Lean production methodologies. Lean 6 Sigma Solutions' Kaizan events are a DMAIC based team activity aimed at rapid use of Lean Methods to eliminate waste in a particular area of a shopfloor, office space or hospital nursing station or other area. Our Kaizan events are (5) day events that focus on specific area in which the goals are to: 1) Eliminate waste and the hidden costs that result from the seven types of waste 2) Improve the value added operations in a process 3) Allow major changes to be made in a particular area with minimum downtime. |
